Entry #6 - Escaping Reality!

     Hi guys! Once again welcome back to my blog and hope you've all been doing well. Today we are going to talk about one of my hobbies; reading! I know some people hate on reading because it's boring and your just "reading off words on a page", I mean yes that is technically what you are doing but you just have to read something in your interests or fun. 




    Reading was always fun to me when I was younger, I loved picking books from the Dork Diaries series, the Rainbow Magic Fairy books, and more books you think a girl in elementary or middle school would read. Once I started getting older and having to read boring books for english or reading class assignments I HATED reading. The only reason I started to enjoy it again was looking for some new hobbies to do because I was always bored and on my phone all day. I knew I loved romance movies so i thought why not search good romance books to read. I made a list and went ahead and got some. 




    
When I got my first book "Love & Other Words" by Christina Lauren, I was so excited because everyone I heard talk about it loved it and I also ended up loving it so much i got more even more romance books. During summer I read 6 romance novels over 300 pages. I just love how when I read it I was escaping reality and imaging every thing in my head like my own little movie. I absolutely enjoy reading now and can not wait to read more when I have the time. I hope this gives some of you guys motivation to start reading or giving something you think you hate a shot.     Hi Bezza! After reading your blog, I really feel like I should start reading because like you, I spend most of my time being on my phone all day. It is not healthy to be staring at screen all day, so I think its time I pick up a new habit. It was appealing how you said that you get to make up a little movie in your head, which I hope to experience once I start to read. - Bricely A

    Hi, this was a really interesting post, I began to lose interest in books around the time we were forced to read relatively uninteresting ones, but I would say that this blog and your enthusiasm over the new books you've read has inspired to maybe pick up reading again.

    Hey Beeza! I think that your reading hobby is nice. Many people nowadays just sit on their phones. Reading opens your imagination and helps keep your brain healthy. I'm glad to see there's still people there trying to use their brains 😂

For this blog let us go through this picture and the story it tells behind the fast food industry.                 In this picture the first thing you can notice is the plus-sized family in line at a restaurant ready to order their food. The text box shows how the man was ordering a “triple decker” but as it looks, he read the sign at the bottom that stated “16% of 10–17-year-olds obese! Kids getting fat younger”. Entry #1 - Blogs!?!

     Before this class I just thought of blogs as vlogs just typed up, which it technically is but I guess there's more to it. I never questioned or thought about them but blogs are actually a great way to state types of interests, hobbies, and just your life.  After looking through different blogs I discovered three I would like to talk about which are: TMZ, Hip-Hop Wired, and Apartment therapy.         Starting off I'm going to talk about TMZ. I've always seen TMZ everywhere but I never thought of it  as a blog. TMZ focuses their blogs on news about celebrities lives, new things in the world occurring and things people would want to hear. In my opinion this blog isn't really helpful and I dislike it because I don't care about what "scandals" or "drama" is going on in famous people's lives.     The second blog I read through was Hip-Hop Wired. Entry #4 - Fall

   Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog today let's talk about fall. Fall is one of the most comforting and aesthetic seasons. Even though we are in Arizona and fall has not fully kicked in yet, I am still ready for the season.  Even though fall is not my top favorite season, I still enjoy it because of its comfort. The way the weather starts to cool down and you can start to wear sweaters or cute fall outfits you get off of Pinterest is so exciting. I also love how the suns starts to go down sooner and you can just curl up and enjoy the not so hot weather. The smell of fall also gets to me, I LOVE the fall candles! As soon as Bath and Body Works drops the fall scents you can catch me there buying almost all the candles.       Some more reasons I love fall is the activities, we have the state fair, pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and more spooky stuff.
